Happy new year, everyone! I don’t know about you, but I am so excited to have a fresh start!
My first collaboration of 2018 is with local Nashville-based brand, goodDYEyoung! goodDYEyoung is a cruelty-free, vegan, semi-permanent hair dye line created by Hayley Williams of Paramore and her hairstylist, Brian O’Connor! They recently launched a brand new product called Poser Paste, which is a temporary styling cream with bright and bold colors. Poser Paste‘s colors are buildable and mixable to create custom shades. Crafted with high-quality pigments, the colors will stand out on even the darkest hair colors.
As someone who has wanted fun, colorful hair most of my life, I couldn’t wait to try these! The best part is that the color is temporary and washes right out!
I decided to go with Riot (neon orange) first! It just took me back to the 2006/2007 Paramore days when I longed for Hayley’s bright orange locks! I was so grateful to have my hairstylist, Kazia Pfuntner (Local Honey East) to help me with this fun project! Kazia has worked with goodDYEyoung in the past and is always creating gorgeous, colorful styles on her clients. I knew she would be able to provide me with guidance on a really cool look for this shoot!
I had some really long clip-in extensions sitting in the back of my closet, so I thought it would be so fun to experiment with them for this shoot! Orange Rapunzel, anyone?
AND FOR ONE FINAL SURPRISE…..
I have filmed my VERY FIRST VLOG capturing this day! The link is below! Video is always something that I have been afraid to try, but in 2018, I am throwing that fear out the window! I loved being able to bring you along and show you how these blog shoots typically go for us! Enjoy!
